It is wonderful that we are coming out of the pandemic and getting back to some sort of normality, however, the Board of Management and I have a duty of care to all staff, volunteers and members of the St. Agnes' CCMA to ensure they are safe while being involved in St. Agnes’ CCMA activities.
I have had quite a number of messages from members regarding their personal circumstances, regarding family health issues and for this reason I believe the St. Agnes' CCMA should proceed with caution until the mid-April Easter break when our COVID policy will be reviewed.
Science has proven that being fully vaccinated and boosted is the only way to get back to normal life and to keep us, our families and our community safe from serious illness and death.
For this reason the CCMA encourages all attending any strand of the organisation to:
- be fully vaccinated (including boosted) in order to attend in-person events/rehearsals.
- wear the recommended medical mask - Medical KN95 masks are available at the CCMA at €2 each.
- wear warm clothes as the windows/doors will be open to provide an air flow.
Sincerely, Sr Bernadette
