Pub Quiz in September and November

Very successful quizzes were organised and enjoyed by all. Lots of fun and prizes. All All proceeds from FUND RAISERS go to the School Violin & Orchestra Project to pay for the tuition and instruments for all our children in Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class and secondary school - all supported entirely by fundraising.

The Richardson Smith Cup

The Richardson Smith Cup was presented for the first time to a music student either primary or secondary school showing excellent progress during the previous year.

Jack and Jill Fundraiser  - October 2014

Congratulations to Eimear O'Grady conductor and St Agnes' Parents String Orchestra on a super concert - which raised over €1300 for the Jack & Jill Children's Foundation.

It was a great night! Thanks to the audience as well for their wonderful generosity!

Trip to the Zoo

September, members of the School Orchestra had a great day at the Zoo.

The 2014 Summer Camp  - June/July 2014

A very successful Summer Camp was held under the stewardship of Dr. Sandra Dackow from the United States. It was a wonderful opportunity for members of the school and parents orchestras to develop their skills in a fun way.

Christchurch Cathedral Lunchtime Concert - 3rd July

A very enjoyable and successful concert was had at Christchurch Cathedral where the school children’s violin orchestra played with the parents orchestra.

For the second year, members of the Parents Orchestra and players in St Agnes School Violin & Orchestra Project played at a commemorative event at the Scouts Larch Hill camp on a glorious summer's day. Music al fresco !

The Sound of Music a great success

March Madness

Sat Mar 1st – Concert with Parents Orchestra, Sounds Ensemble & Clongowes Wood College Orchestra at Clongowes College plus guest visitors from MADRID, approx. 20 members of Orquesta Crescendo de Tres Cantos.

Four conductors shared the programme: Eimear O’Grady, Terry Clancy, Philip Thomas (Head of Music at Clongowes Wood College) and Raul Sanchez (conductor of Orquesta Crescendo de Tres Cantos).

Fashion Show

Louis Fitzgerald hotel, Naas Rd in aid of the next production of St Agnes Musical Society. In addition to stunning clothes from Siopa Lara Clondalkin the Show features musical spots from "Oklahoma!", "The King and I" and "The Sound of Music".
